Leila trained at the College of Holistic Medicine in Glasgow, qualifying in therapeutic massage in 1991, then continuing to assist on the massage courses. She went on to train in Therapeutic Counselling for 2 years 1992-1994.

After further study Leila graduated in cranio sacral medicine in 1996 with Donald Howitt in Edinburgh.

Her personal healing journey has taken her to study with healers in Greece, Switzerland, Ireland, America and India. She qualified in Iyengar Yoga in 1992 and is currently teaching regular classes at the Quaker Meeting House, 7 Victoria Terrace, Edinburgh, and at 25 Blackfriars Street. Edinburgh
